Full of faith and excited that we could soon be starting a family I googled different apps that would help us know when my most fertile days were and tracked them conscientiously! It was exciting. We were full of hope. This could be our last Christmas without kids. I was planning a ski trip with some friends for Easter, silently wondering how that would work if I were a couple of months pregnant then. After all, we’d both waited so long to find each other, surely God would bless us soon with children. There was plenty of time to have our 2.4 children before I turned the big 40.
