October 15: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day
October marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, with October 15 a special day to remember all those who have lost babies and infants, whether through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, still birth or death of an infant.

Loss of a child, whether in the womb or after birth, is an incredibly painful experience. 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage, so many people in society and in our churches have experienced this grief personally. We have pulled together some resources to help churches acknowledge this day, and we hope that in doing so we can break the silence around miscarriage and infant infant loss, and bring comfort to those who grieve.
Please feel free to use any of these resources as they are, or adapt them to your needs.
All the resources are available here.

God's Purpose and Infertility
Stephanie Keller from This Is Better, interviews Helen as part of her podcast series.
They discuss Christians and Infertility and How God will bear fruit in our lives; through Helen’s painful journey of infertility. Helen opens her heart to help all of us remember to hold couples struggling with this issue in prayer. We also learn how to be mindful when talking to those Christians struggling with infertility, to be loving and open knowing words can hurt. We also see through Helen when we hold on to our loving, sovereign God, He will bear fruit and give purpose and joy.
In part two, they continue the conversation surrounding how others might walk along side and pray for those struggling with infertility. And how the husband and wife will experience the journey differently but for those in a covenant marriage, they can cover each other in prayer. God loves us and wants to bless us but we don’t know if that always includes children.
